Russell Adams was recently awarded with the presitgious MAI designation. This designation is the industry standard for excellence in the real estate appraisal industry. With this award, Russell has joined an elite group of commercial appraisers.  In order to receive this designation, Russell took several advanced appraisal courses, completed a two-day comprehensive exam, wrote a demonstration report which highlighted his thorough understanding of appraisal techniques, and underwent a review of his completed appraisal work.  Even more impressive is the fact that Russell was able to accomplish this at only 30 years of age, making him one of the youngest MAI Designated Appraisers.

Russell becomes the third MAI designated appraiser at Shackelford & Associates, joining Matt Hawk and Jay Shackelford.  Having three MAI designated appraisers on staff is indicative of our commitment to provide top quality appraisal reports to our clients.
